The high content of ursolic acid is lustrous prismatic (anhydrous ethanol) or fine hairy needle
crystal (diluted ethanol), low content is brown yellow or yellow green powder, with special odor, it is one in natural plants,a pentacyclic triterpenoid. Soluble in dioxane, pyridine, soluble in methanol, ethanol, butanol, butanone, slightly soluble in
acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, chloroform, ether, insoluble in water and petroleum ether.
