Curcumin is extracted from turmeric, which is a member of ginger family. Turmeric (Latin name: Curcuma longa L.) is a perennial herb with a well-developed root of ginger

elliptic, and corolla is yellowish. It can be found in several Chinese provinces, including Taiwan,
